This quarter sized standard olive tree makes a great gift, about 50-60cm tall with a 30-35cm head diameter.

The olive tree is an elegant, slow-growing, long-lived plant which is ideal for a sunny, sheltered spot. The olive tree retains its silver-grey leaves all year and, in the summer, it produces tiny, fragrant, creamy-white flowers. The olive fruits ripen in the autumn.
The olive tree is equally happy in a pot or planted in the ground - it prefers a sunny spot and free draining soil.

To care for your olive tree, water it regularly during dry periods and apply a top dressing of nitrogen-rich general fertilizer 2-3 times per year, during the growing season. Shoots can be trimmed or pinched out in the summer as required to retain shape. Please note that this product does not include the pot shown in the picture, which is available as a separate product.It is supplied in a plain plastic planter.
